#ProtectKidsOnline

Children are being sexually exploited and abused online at alarming rates. The U.S. hosts more child sexual abuse content online than any other country in the world. It is also where most of the major technology companies are based. It is our responsibility as a nation to do what we can to end this heinous crime and #ProtectKidsOnline. We are calling on Congress to pass legislation that will require certain online safety standards for children using the platforms.

Join us for a Day of Action to #ProtectKidsOnline on February 1st

The CEOs of five major social networks – Meta, TikTok, X (Twitter), Snap and Discord – will testify before Congress on Jan. 31 to talk about how their platforms protect children. The creation and spread of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is a rapidly growing problem, and the U.S. government has the power to end it with a bill called the EARN IT Act (S.1207). Among other advances, this bipartisan legislation would incentivize tech companies to protect kids on their platforms.

No matter where you live, call Sen. Schumer’s office on Feb. 1, and urge him to bring the EARN IT Act to the Senate floor for a vote: 202-224-6542.
