Running with Purpose: Celebrating PACT’s First TCS New York City Marathon
On Sunday, November 2, 2025, PACT hosted its first-ever team for the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon, the largest marathon in the world. This iconic annual event is known for its remarkable scale: more than 55,000 runners and over 2 million spectators.
Interest in joining Team PACT marathon team was overwhelming, with numerous passionate runners applying to represent our mission.
For PACT, however, the power of this event was generated by our small but mighty team of three runners: Morgan, Jack, and Marissa.
Those who followed this intrepid trio on PACT’s social channels grew to know each of them as they shared their advocacy for the prevention of child sex trafficking and sexual exploitation:
Morgan, a swimwear designer, is an experienced runner who joined PACT for her third charity run. She blitzed through this race with a smoldering time of 3:49:14!
Jack, a social media and marketing specialist, chose to support PACT for his first marathon ever! We were honored to be part of Jack's own healing journey and thrilled to catch him as he was running for some hugs and selfies.
Marissa, a theatrical lighting supervisor, is an experienced triathlete and survivor. She has been vocal about sharing her story, knowing firsthand the lifelong impact of exploitation and the power of healing. We’ve been so moved by Marissa’s advocacy and continue to cheer her on as a champion for child protection!
We’re deeply grateful to Team PACT, who trained and poured their hearts into every mile to raise funds for child protection. Our sincere thanks also go out to everyone who has donated, encouraged, and stood with us along the way.
While both Morgan and Jack reached their fundraising goals, Marissa’s incredible journey was cut short by an injury that kept her from running on race day, but we can still help her cross the finish line.
If you haven’t had the chance, there’s still time to give to Marissa’s fundraiser and help her meet her goal before the end of November!
