Lori L. Cohen

Lori L. Cohen joined Protect All Children from Trafficking (PACT) in 2019 after founding and leading a legal services program that assisted survivors of international and domestic human trafficking. Initially focused on legal remedies, Lori recognized the need for holistic care, and expanded the center’s program to include safe housing, medical and psychological support, and economic empowerment. 

Trafficking survivors inform Lori’s work and inspire her with their resilience and determination to end this human rights abuses. Joining PACT was a natural progression, allowing Lori to leverage her skills and experiences to elevate survivor voices and generate greater impact through education, advocacy and partnerships.

Lori has garnered international recognition for her work and has been interviewed widely in the English and Spanish language press. She draws upon her experience to advocate for anti-trafficking policy on federal, state, and local levels and led training programs for a wide range of stakeholders.  Lori has taught at Yale University and the University of Michigan Law School.
