Luis Guaman
Senior Education Associate
Luis Guaman earned his B.A. in Social Work with a minor in Spanish from the College of Staten Island and completed his Master’s in Social Work in 2024 at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, specializing in Community Organization, Planning, and Development.
Luis is deeply committed to empowering and educating both youth and adults. He has provided guidance on LGBTQ+ safe sex practices and boundary-setting for LGBTQ+ youth, and has facilitated academic, professional, and personal development workshops for college students with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. His passion lies in strengthening communities through education and advocacy, with a focus on expanding access to essential resources for marginalized populations facing systemic barriers to their human rights.
In addition to his social work practice, Luis is pursuing a second career in the culinary arts. A graduate of the School of Cooperative Technical Education’s Advanced Culinary program, he aspires to become a Chef and eventually launch his own culinary business. At the same time, he manages a growing wellness-focused nutrition business, where he inspires individuals to embrace healthier lifestyles through balanced habits, community support, and daily motivation. His work in both the culinary and wellness fields reflects his broader mission to nourish not just the body, but the whole person—empowering others to lead lives filled with purpose, energy, and self-confidence.
Luis currently serves as a Senior Education Associate at PACT’s Educational Initiatives Department under the Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) Program. He remains committed to continued growth and to making a meaningful impact across every space he steps into.
