Mimi recently graduated from Pitzer College in May 2025 with a B.A. in Philosophy. At Pitzer, she completed an undergraduate thesis analyzing various forms of structural violence within the legal system that prevent trans youth from accessing life-saving gender-affirming care. Mimi has always been interested in sexual health and sexual violence prevention education. In college, she worked as a Peer Advocate, providing resources and trauma-informed support for her peers experiencing sexual violence, and she previously worked with Planned Parenthood as a peer health educator. In the future, Mimi hopes to pursue a graduate degree in Social Work and become a mental health care provider. Through social work, she hopes to focus on promoting healthy interpersonal and sexual dynamics and supporting survivors. Mimi is passionate about collaborating with young people and providing survivor-informed, trauma-informed, and culturally-responsive education. During her service year at PACT, she will support the Y-ACT program for youth and the CSAM Prevention program for parents through research and workshop coordination/facilitation.
