Sydney Rose

Sydney rejoins the Board of Directors in 2024 after serving on the Emeritus board. She has been deeply involved with the organization since 2011, when she first joined as an intern, later serving as a consultant, founding the Young Professionals Committee, and joining the Board of Directors.

Sydney is a skilled management leader with over a decade of experience in executing best practices for increased collaboration and efficacy of social impact organizations and social actors. Her passion is at the intersection of technology and equity. She currently runs a data, systems, and strategy consultancy taking on numerous leadership roles for her clients and enabling them to strengthen and scale their impact. She recently served as the Vice President of Partnerships and Programs at Vote.org, which uses technology to simplify political engagement and strengthen American democracy. There, she led the nation’s largest nonpartisan get-out-the-vote (GOTV) program. These efforts reached voters over 700 million times during the 2020, 2022, and 2024 election cycles while focusing on young and BIPOC communities that often face voter suppression and disenfranchisement.

Sydney has also worked for the technology organization DataKind, designing and implementing partnerships and short-term data science engagements, which led to predictive tools and actionable insights for mission-driven partners. She received her bachelor’s in international studies from Boston College and her master’s in social enterprise administration from Columbia University.
